You need to keep up with the research to learn new brands or trending brands so you don’t miss out on your long sourcing trips it’s gonna be more consistent than yard sales

Garage sales are much better but its a 3 season deal around here. Winter is out so have to thrift of auctions.

If you were running your business well with thrift stores I can only imagine you will absolutely KILL IT if you hit up more flea markets, Garage sales/Estate sales!

I found out this summer that flea markets and Garage sales, plus estate sales are far better places to source for quality items at a cheaper price. Estate sales could care less about clothing. So scores of vintage are there to be had. Sometimes I pay up for items at a flea market. But the upside is you upside price can be 5X that of a Thrift. Start hitting the flea market for better items. And hit the garage sales on Saturday.

Rummaging with kids is iffy. They're going to want a toy at every single sale. 😂

I think it's always funny how we want things to sell so we can keep the cashflow going but then get upset when something sells immediately because we could've probably gotten more money for it. I just missed out on selling something for $40 that I got for $5 because I had just listed it and wanted to wait a couple days to see if I would get full asking. I haven't gotten another offer since LOL I'm trying to get actively better at consciously being aware that we're in the business of selling not storing!

i know how to figure the sell thru rate. Anytime I look something up I do not get the exact match..... more items show up so it is not the true sell thru rate. I am a newbie I apologize

Hey man I have a question. I have some of my items priced around what I’ve seen you price things at but they only ever seem to sell when I lowball myself with offers. Do you just let things sit at a price and not send out offers hoping eventually someone pays what you’re asking.

I recently had an issue with an order for multiple quantities of the same item. Ebay automatically adjusted the weight, but not the dimensions of the box. I thought that maybe I could fix this with a shipping rule, but it seems like I can only add a "handling cost" for each add'l item. I hope that makes sense. Have you noticed this? What would you do to fix this? Thanks.

I came up on some Team USA nike dri-fit t shirts all new with tags. They were sellin good sold like 15 in a week.And ebay banned my account and askin for recipts and other BS. Still got over 50 shirts if people want em all

those prices are insane! Thrift stores in Oregon are like $8-12 for shirts, jeans are 12.99-24.99, shorts are like 7-9. crazy to see how low some of those prices are. Call me peanut butter cause I am so jelly of those prices.

I love eBay I have done so many things in my life for work and nothing is more satisfying as being a reseller / content creator been in it 5 years the beginning was rough working a full time day job using everything extra $$$ for eBay sourcing but a year ago I was able to quit that job and do eBay full time it was well worth the sacrifice in the beginning

Like I've told ya before, I HATE leaving the house, and have only thrifted a couple times. I plan to go this friday to 2 stores, goodwill and then a thrift store right next to it, I dread it because it will take me 2 hrs inside each store because I'm still new so i have to look a lot of stuff up on my phone in the store and after one store I'm burnt out but the other is right next to it so might as well go there instead of driving back out there the next day-- but this video gives me a little motivation. i Do have a list of brands to look for, but I can't help look up brands I come across for the "what if" factor thats what takes me so long in a store!
